My travel journal
Dear travel journal,
My name is Kevin and i'm in Xi'an. I'm a merchant and I'm going to trade fur, food and water for silk. I had to travel across mountains and ran into 2 mountain lions. All I had for weapons were 2 rocks and my fists. I had to hunt for my own food but there were not many animals. Xi'an has lots of buildings. But on my way there I ran into lots of danger. But when I got to Xi'an I traded with another merchant named Devin and I gave him fur, food and water. I'm lucky I found a mountain goat to ride or else my feet would of gotten frost bite.
4/13/10
My next destanation is Turfan and I'm going to trade with a farmer to get a horse and I'm going to give him my goat. The farmers name was Bob. The farmer was very nice. He was very happy with the trade. Turfan was a very nice place but I have to leave to go to my next destanation.
4/13/10
My next destination is Samarkand and I traded with another farmer named Bingo. Bingo gave me food, water & two guns. Bingo was very nice he even let me pick the gun. I picked his best gun which was two shotguns. Me and Bingo became instant friends. It's time for me to go to my next destanation.
4/14/10
My next destanation is Baghdad and i'm going to trade with a farmer who's going to give me food and water and i'm going to give some beans. Then I ran into my old friend Devin who I met in Xi'an. I ran into a bandit. Devin pulled his 2 swords and I pulled out my 2 guns. Me and Devin traded a sword for a gun then we killed all the bandits and went to Baghdad. As soon as we got there we traded our things and we went to other destanations together and traded with other people from then on. Me and Devin also ran into 10 more bandits and then we fought them all and barely won because those bandits were very strong, then we headed home with broken arms. THE END

Kevin - your journal entries are interesting and exciting - please be sure to add the date.

In my travel journal Xi'an was my first destanation then Turfan then Samarkand then Baghdad. In Xi'an I made a friend named Devin who was a merchant. In Turfan where I traded with a farmer who traded a horse for my goat. In Samarkand I made another friend named Bingo who was also a farmer. I'm glad me and Bingo became friends because if we didn't I would only have Devin as a friend. In Baghdad I ran into my friend Devin who I met in Xi'an. A while after we met we ran into 10 bandits who we barely won against. When we headed home we had broken arms. And thats the end.
Kevin - your journal writing was interesting and creative - I hope you enjoyed the project and learned from it.

If Wooly Mammoths were still living it would be a dangerous world. Wooly Mammoths would destroy stores houses and more. Everyone would probably run in fear of them. Everyone would be squished because they're really big. The would destroy everything in their path.
